For sellers

List an asset to verified bidders

Machinery, industrial equipment, land, warehousing, commercial property, containers, surplus inventory and stalled projects. Every bidder has verified their identity and, where the auction asks for one, paid a deposit before they can bid on your lot.

What you get

Bidders who have already qualified

Every bidder is verified and committed

A bidder needs verified KYC, and a verified earnest money deposit where the auction asks for one, before they can bid. You deal only with buyers who have qualified.

Your reserve stays confidential

The reserve is never disclosed to bidders, only whether it has been met. If it is not met, the lot does not sell.

Clear, itemised fees

Standard fees are a 2% commission and a 1% success fee on the winning bid, plus GST. Your listing shows the exact rates before you submit, and every invoice line shows the rate applied.

Procedure

Consignment to settlement

  1. 01

    Onboarding and accreditation

Completion of know-your-customer verification and enrolment under an applicable seller membership.

  2. 02

    Consignment particulars

Submission of the asset’s description, situs, specifications, photographic record and supporting documentation, held in draft until formally submitted.

  3. 03

    Due-diligence review

Examination by DeltaGuard of the consignment and its documentation against each applicable verification criterion.

  4. 04

    Terms of sale

Proposal of the opening price, reserve, bid increment and auction schedule. The earnest money deposit is determined by DeltaGuard.

  5. 05

    Admission to auction

Remittance of the Validation Fee, refundable upon completion of the sale. Subject to DeltaGuard’s approval, the auction commences at the scheduled time.

  6. 06

    Settlement

Upon receipt of the purchase consideration and the buyer’s acceptance of handover, the sale price, net of applicable fees, is remitted to the seller’s nominated bank account.

Before you list

You will be asked to evidence ownership or authority to sell. Listings are reviewed before publication, and one that cannot be substantiated will not be approved. That is what makes the marketplace worth bidding in.
